Management Strategy

         As one of the department that possesses core technologies and professional skills in Taiwan Power Company (TPC), Taiwan Power Research Institute (TPRI), under TPC’s integrated developing objectives and strategies, spares no effort to frame the short, medium and long term goals in R&D and to search for the innovative direction/application in Testing business. Except for providing a variety of professional service and solutions for TPC when facing the difficulties and challenges, TPRI keeps the hard work on developing core technologies, promoting international exchanges and cooperation, and bringing in the new technology to improve operating performance and reduce operating costs so that TPC will one day become a prominent, trustworthy world-class power utility group.

        In the cause of achieving above-mentioned management strategies, TPRI is now working on a cross-system cooperation between TPRI and Departments/Divisions, and develops key projects and puts the results in use, meanwhile, enhances inner integrated technology and research strength so as to lift our service quality and meet the needs of stakeholders. All in all, TPRI will continue to mold a new culture and value in terms of freedom, openness, innovation and sharing in the future.

Prospection

        Since Taiwan Power Research Institute (TPRI) was founded, TPRI has been accumulated beneficial research results and ripe technological experiences in the electric power supply industry, which makes TPRI as Taiwan Power Company’s (TPC) strong backing to pursuit excellence and development. Facing the challenges of energy transition and electricity reform, TPRI has adhered to the concept of “creating growing advantages for the management of the electric power supply industry,” and has refined the existing core competence to be more competitive while pursuing a steady long-term sustainable development.
