POWERLAB is a community dedicated to digital craftsmanship. Makers, such as contemporary artists, emerging designers and energy educators, gather here to share their talents and exchange ideas. By exploring different creative possibilities for sustainability, they transform imagination into green-energy-inspired creations. Their work is an integral part of Taipower's brand image and all of their artistic creations will be displayed in the D/S ONE GALLERY to celebrate sustainability. POWERLAB is a hub for connecting green energy with creative energy.
The Taiwan Railway Administration’s former facility has been transformed into an experiential space that reflects the city's fluidity by presenting foggy stainless steel during the day but demonstrating the daily power output of Taiwan's renewable energy forms through lighting at night.
As a top education venue for green energy, POWERLAB provides workshops for both school children and families. Based on the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) educational concept, the diverse programs are designed to be the key to a green energy future. Here the value of energy science is explored along with the invaluable advantages of sustainability.

The connection between art and the energy industry is both the key to D/S ONE’s leading role in its field and an important driving force behind Taipower’s efforts to become green. To encourage more artists and curators to involve themselves in promoting sustainability, POWERLAB offers a well-equipped, free, co-working space as a platform for promoting interactions across fields and bringing imagination to life.
We embrace diverse points of view and work through annual, themed open calls. We also host talks and lectures to foster interactions that continue conversations about sustainable green energy.
